PAD and CLI are linked to the disproportionate consumption of health care resources and associated costs. Patients with CLI are subject to high amputation rates [3-4] that lead to long stays in hospital, high readmissions and long-term follow up care and costs.

The Quality of life deteriorates rapidly with increasing severity, symptoms and outcomes of CLI and leads to greater overall work impairment and loss of mobility and independence [13] . The Quality of life is significantly impaired across all health dimensions for CLI patients by imposing a substantial burden on a patient’s emotional , social and physical well-being.
